Do I require a passport?

It is essential for US citizens to possess a full passport, valid for at least six months beyond the date of your return air ticket. For details on how to obtain a passport log onto https://usps.com/international/passports.htm or inquire at your nearest Post Office.

Do you recommend travel protection?

We recommend that you carry suitable travel protection.  We suggest that you purchase a Travelex travel protection plan to help protect you and your travel investment against the unexpected. Travel protection plans include coverage for trip cancellation, trip interruption, emergency medical and emergency evacuation/repatriation, trip delay, baggage delay and more.   We can suggest a competitive plan when booking your cruise with us.

How can I pay for my booking?

All payments must be made in US Dollars.

Payments can be made by either check or debit/credit card.

You can make a booking on our website – simply select the tour you wish to book and click 'Book Now'. On some holidays we need to request flight seats – these are also bookable on-line but we will not take any payment from your card or confirm your booking until we have secured your flights. We will send you confirmation once this has been done. Alternatively, simply telephone our Reservations Team on 203-916-1752 -  Opening hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm EST, Monday through Friday.

How do I make a change to my booking?

What documentation will I receive after making my booking?

When booking through our call center you will receive an email immediately following confirmation of your payment. We will then send you a copy of this confirmation by email, which you will receive within 10 days. Along with your confirmation, in the post you will receive a passenger information form, which contains all the information that you have provided about each passenger at the time of the booking, as well as space to provide additional information such as passport details. It is important that you carefully check the information on this form and return the form with any missing information completed. You will receive your final travel documents 7-10 days prior to departure.

What is my baggage allowance?

Please check with your airline carrier for baggage requirements and restrictions while flying.

What should I do if I don’t receive my travel documents?

Your travel documents should arrive 7-10 days prior to departure. If you haven’t received your tickets 3 days before you are due to travel, please call us on 203-916-1752 . Opening hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm EST, Monday through Friday.

What should I do if I lose my travel documents?

You must contact us as soon as possible on 203-916-1752  and we will provide replacements or advise on what to do.

What’s included on my cruise?

Our fully comprehensive itineraries include all of the ‘must see’ sights and experiences your selected destination offers. Many operators sell these as ‘options’ – but on a Riviera Travel cruise you will miss nothing of importance. We do not sell you lots of additional excursions that just add to your overall costs. When can I expect to receive my travel documents?

Your tickets and final travel documentation will be sent to you approximately 7-10 days prior to your departure date. Please make sure that you check the details on your tickets and advise us immediately of any errors.

When should I pay my balance?

If you are booking you cruise to travel within eight weeks of departure, payment is required in full at the tme of booking. You can pay your balance by either sending a check or calling us on 203-916-1752 to pay by credit or debit card.

Will I require a Visa?

Please check carefully if you need a visa to travel to Europe as we cannot accept responsibility for the cancellation of a cruise due to the non-granting of a visa. if you are unsure whether you require a visa please call us on 203-916-1752 for more information.
